Intumescent Paint for Wood
Intumescent clear and white paints that have a B-s1,d0 rating as well as 30 or 60 mins fire protection. These paints have been tested on several wood types including CLT. They have an ETA and are CE marked as well as having an Environmental Product Declaration and indoor emission tests. These come as either clear or white but can have added pigment to make a wide option of colours.
Fire Retardant Coating for Internal Timber
Fire retardant clear and white paints that achieve B-s1-d0 rating. Nordic QVFR is a two-coat system and does not need a separate topcoat. Nordic ES/VFR needs two coats and one topcoat. Both systems have an ETA and are CE marked. They also have an Environmental Product Declaration and indoor emission tests. These come in clear or white, but pigment can be added to give you the colour of your choice.
